Fuel Wharf Maintenance

To All Our Marina Customers,

Important Notice - Maintenance on the Fuel Wharf Pontoons this Week will Restrict the use of the Inside of the Wharf for Refuelling

We wanted to let you know that the Marina’s Maintenance Team are working on the inside (mainland side) of the Fuel Wharf this week. We’re doing work on the pontoons and it requires the use of a floating dock and to open up the services pit that runs down the middle of the Wharf. Consequently, while this essential work is underway, the inside of the Fuel Wharf is not going to be available to dock or to refuel from.

We ask therefore that all customers that want to take on fuel, that you prepare to dock on the outside (seaward side) of the Fuel Wharf. While you’re there, we ask also that you follow the instructions on the signs and from Marina staff in order to keep you and your people away from areas that have temporarily changed and away from any potential harm.

In order to keep the outside of the Fuel Wharf accessible for anyone who needs to take on fuel, please set down only for the time it takes to refuel.

Importantly, while the Fuel Wharf pontoons receive some maintenance the Fuel System is operating as normal; this notice is just to let you know that fuel is only going to be accessible from the outside (seaward side) of the Fuel Wharf.

We’ll circulate a follow-up note when the maintenance is complete on the inside of the Fuel Wharf but we’ll flag with you now, just for notice in advance, that we will have the need to do the same maintenance on the outside (seaward side) of the Fuel Wharf. We appreciate the outside of the Fuel Wharf is preferred for refuelling so we’ll ensure we’ve got notice to you that will confirm when the seawards side maintenance will start.

Many Thanks;
