It’s a Bird, It’s a Plane… No it’s Superheroes!

Keep an eye out around the Marina next week for a few little Superheroes…... Big Mama Sailing and Breakwater Marina have partnered up with businesses to get local HeartKids onboard for an epic Superhero Sunset Sailing Adventure.

Local Businesses will be sponsoring children to join this special sunset sail for the kids and their parents or carers on Big Mama’s new sailing vessel, “Samurai”. Our Fundraising has been so successful so far we’ve filled the first boat and on the way to fill “Big Mama” with these little brave superheroes too!

Our aim is to see many brave Heartkids sailing off into the sunset in their Superhero costumes!

1 in 100 babies born in Australia will be diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease. HeartKids is the only charity in Australia dedicated to supporting these children and their families. Locally here in Townsville, HeartKids have over 230 families in their community.  The HeartKids Foundation help with support for children living with CoHD & CHD, their families, and the families of our HeartAngels who have sadly lost their battle to this disease.
